Christmas In Winchester

So yesterday I was surprised by my partner that I was going out for the day. I had no idea where I was going and there were tickets in my bag hidden that I could only look at when I got to the place! After a few hours in the car we arrived at Winchester and after trying to pay for parking by phone (amazing I know) we headed into the town. We arrived and we were at a Christmas Market under the most amazing Cathedral I have ever seen! It was done so lovely with little sheds with people selling Christmas stuff and lovely food! To my surprise when I got to see the tickets they were for out door ice-skating under the Christmas Lights!

I looked around all the stalls and I got to try maple syrup brandy, it was lovely! Chocolate wine, not so lovely! After walking around for a while we got some food. I got myself a BBQ bratwurst with onion, ketchup and mustard! To wash it down I got mulled wine but I hated it so I had to deal with a coffee! We then did some ice-skating that was amazing because after half an hour it was dark and all the lights were shining on the ice! After all that I was treated to Nandoes and the movie We are what we are! I'm really in the Christmas mood now! At the end of the day I came home with Maple Syrup lolly's, a little dog card, a bag of sweets and a posh strawberry and white chocolate tea cake!
