What Iv'e Learnt From Blogging

I have now been blogging for one year and I have loved every second of it! I have learnt a lot so today I thought I would share!

1) I have a voice and people like it.
When I first started blogging I was so worried that it was going to be fail and everyone would hate me but it has been the complete opposite! I  get such lovely feed back about my blog and writing and it all means the world to me!

2) High street is sometimes better than designer.
From all the reviews I read on a daily basis I have learnt that sometimes high street is better than spending more on a brand. I used to think you had to spend a lot on  makeup to get the best but my opinion has completely changed and all mu makeup is high street!

3) To have trust in myself.
From people talking about their life to peoples Pintrest boards  I have learnt that I need to have trust in myself. I always doubt the way I look, act and what sort of person I am. My goal this year is to trust me.

4) Having 1000s of lists and stationery is acceptable.
I now know that I am not the only one with six note books full of lists! It's all good!

5) Just because someone has an amazing life on the internet doesn't mean anything.
The amount of times I have got upset because of the way people have their life over the internet. I have learnt now that it doesn't mean anything and to be happy with my life!

6) Primer and good makeup brushes are your best friend!
Reading blogs got me into Real Techniques and I couldn't live without them! (What did I look like?!) Again I couldn't live without Primer! I have learnt a good primer = a pretty face for longer.

7) There are some amazing people in this world.
From blogging to watching youtube I can see that there is such talent out there! I have learnt all tricks with makeup by watching people on youtube! I have taken in some amazing advice from peoples blogs and I have had some amazing laughs with people I haven't met!

I love all the things I have learnt and I am so happy that I started blogging! What have you learnt from blogging?

  6. Love this post! I laughed at the comment about having so much stationary. My real life friends always make fun of my obsession until I point them in the direction of all my online favorites. I'm like, "See! I'm not the only one!"

  12. I agree with this post! Especially #5. I've been told that I always look happy online. Shucks, that seems to be the only time I'm happy at the moment, but I'm working on it! Slowly, but surely :)

  18. I agree with everything, but #1 has to be my favourite. It's so true and so underrated. We blog because we want to express ourselves, and we may not realize there are some people who like how you express things and like you. Gosh, I love this post!

  19. Hundred percent agree with this, just because someone seems to have a good life online doesn't mean they do in reality! And yeah I love bogging because you can be yourself on a platform where people take you for what you are flaws and all! x x
