MyTop Four Books

I'm a book worm. I love getting a new book and getting sucked into an amazing world. I couldn't stop reading, even if you paid me. My first book I ever read was Harry Potter & The Philosophers Stone, of course! From then on I have read so much from Fifty Shades to Pride and Prejudice and have loved every singe one for different reasons! Today I thought I would share with you my top six books that sit pride of place on my shelf.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower: This book consists of letters from Charlie to someone called Friend. He tells this person everything, from love to school to breaking. I adore this book and I have read it so many times I have lost count. It really is such a beautiful story that I can relate to on so many levels.

Poppet: The inmates at a high secure are afraid, after odd power cuts and horrifying incidents the staff are scared too. This book makes me excited! The horror this book unfolds is amazing and all the twists and turns are perfect. I love a good puzzle and this book was just that, I loved the fact I had to read a page again as it was far too crazy!

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children: The story of a boy called Jacob on a quest to get answers from an old abandoned orphanage where his grandfather grew up. This book is filled with amazing old photos of "peculiar" people and it really takes you into the amazing world. I'm really into my horror photography so this book has turned into my bible of Macabre!

The Asylum For Wayward Victorian Girls: This book contains two stories. Hospital entry's which consists of Emilies real diary in a mental ward and fictional Asylum letters where a young girl called also Emily gets taken to a Victorian Asylum. I can't stress how much this book means to me! The pages are full of beautiful illustrations drawn by Emilie and it's dark, real dark! This is the book has taught me a lot about my self with suffering from a mental illness and has also fed my imagination to the next level! (I do think this book deserves a post all to it's self to be honest!)

Well there are my top four books! I hope you liked reading this post and maybe you have found your next read?

What are you favorite books?
