Trek Flapjack by Natural Balance Foods Review*

I was kindly sent a box of 16 Trek Protein Flapjacks by Natural Balance Foods to review. I'm so pleased as flapjacks are my favorites!

In the box it contained:
Two cocoa coconut
Three cocoa oat
Three banana bread
Three Original oat
Three oat raisin
Two morning berry

These flapjacks are made with gluten free oats and contain 9-10g of added protein for long lasting energy. Natural Balance Foods say that these are perfect for pre and post exercise and for breakfast. At the moment I'm working out more getting ready for summer so I was excited to see if these would stop me snacking before my dinner!

I have now tried one of each and they are delicious! The flavor in each bar is amazing! If I had to pick my favorite it would have to be Cocoa Coconut as it has a lovely layer of chocolate on the top and the coconut isn't too over powering, just a light hint! The morning berry one comes close and I have had it for my breakfast and it was perfect!

Eating one before going for a walk and work out has really helped. It gave me an extra boast to keep going and I wasn't starving when I got home. I also haven't snaked in the afternoon and can go four to five hours without anything so I'm really pleased with this!

The calories of the bars range from 210 to 220 which I think is really good considering they are so big and filling! I love the fact that the bars are Gluten, Wheat & Dairy free (apart from the ones containing chocolate). It's full of all the good stuff!

For a mixed case of flapjacks it costs £15.99 which I think is amazing because in the supermarket just one is going to cost you around £1.50!

I'm going to be getting myself a box of these as soon and I am finished with the ones I have, that isn't going to be long now!

Would you like to try these? Let me know!

  4. I've never seen this brand here so this is such a great review to read. I've tried one natural, organic bars brand and omg, I swear it was dog food! I had to double, triple check to make sure it wasn't because it was so darn awful. Completely turned me off from these bars.

I'll check if I can get these here, sounds like it'll restore my faith in these bars.
