Healthy Breakfast Recipe Strawberry Overnight Oats

It's no lie that I am on a health kick ready for summer! I have been working out everyday, even on the hottest day of the year and I ate a tray of ice cubes doing it! I have been mucking around in the kitchen trying out new things to keep me filled up in the day but healthy also. I thought today I would share with you a little quick, cheap recipe!

What you will need:
  • Alpro Plain With Almond Yogurt (you don't have to use this one but I do as the calories are so low and there is hardly any sugar in it)
  • Oats
  • Strawberries
Chop up your strawberries and place them in a sauce pan with a tiny pinch of sugar, I mean tiny! Heat them gently and make sure the sugar has dissolved. Once you can see that the strawberries have started turn juicy place the lid on and leave for five minutes. Once they are soft mash them with a fork and leave to cool. While your waiting place some oats in the bottom of your glass, then yogurt then oats. When your strawberries are cool place them onto your yogurt and oat pots. Leave in the fridge over night and have in the morning!

This is so tasty and so healthy at the same time. It leaves me full so I don't go picking for food before my lunch! The cooked strawberries taste like the ones you get in mullercorner without the extra calories! I hope you liked this post and try this out for yourself!
