Skincare on a budget

Everywhere you look skin care is at the top of everyone's list. There are so many products out there that promise amazing things. Some deliver and some don't and me being a sucker for advertising I admit I have had some really useless products and a poor bank. I made a promise with myself that I would find some cheaper products that work and I would stick with them. I'm not saying that expensive products don't work I just like to know when I run out of something I am in love with I can get it straight away without worrying about the cost!

Starting off is the cult Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water which you can get from Boots for £4.99. I don't know what I was doing before I had this product but I know I was lazy with my old wipes and I didn't take my makeup off before bed, I know I know bad Stacey! I wear quite a bit of makeup and a lot of mascara and this water gets it off in a flash. I apply it to two cotton pads and wipe across my face. I then get two new pads and I hold them over my eyes for a minute or so before wiping away the days mascara. Not only is this product cheep, it works and lasts ages, I have had two bottles in a year. Not bad eh!

Next is Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser which is £4.99 from Boots. I get my fair share of spots due do hormonal changes and the fact I can't stop touching my face.. This product offers a deep cleanse without clogging your pores and I am hooked! Every other morning I wet my face and I use two pumps of this on my face. I really work it into the problem areas with my fingers. It gives you a cooling feel which is lovely in the morning! After using this for a week my skin is looking much better and my pores are less clogged and smaller. Like with any cleanser you need to use a good moisturizer because it does remove the good oils!

By far my favorite of the bunch is the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser. This is only £5.99 and worth every penny. I do love a product that makes me feel like I have just been to a spa and this cleanser does just that. In the evening I rub this all over my face and neck in circular movements, I like to leave it on a while because it's very soothing and smells lovely. I then get my cloth that comes with it and rinse it under hot water, not boiling but the hottest I can take and start to polish off the cleanser. Not only does it leave your skin clean, fresh and radiant but also exfoliated in the gentlest way possible. This is also a dupe for the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and in my opinion better!

Lastly is the Garnier Moisture Match Illuminating Light Lotion. This costs £3.99 in Superdrug. This little bottle offers a lot with the main thing being it contains light reflecting pigments. I use this everyday under my foundation. It's non oily and drys on your face quick and leaves a smooth base ready for your day. Since I have been using this my skin has had a lovely glow and I have had comments saying how good my skin looks! So not only are you paying for an amazing face cream but an illuminating cream, perfect! It also contains SPF20 for added protection.

So there you have it, four products that add up to £19.96 that are all amazing and work wonders! I hope you guys liked the post and have found it useful!
