Taking Care Of Your Hair Must-Haves

hair care blogger
One thing I love more than anything these days is hair care! I have such a obsession with making my hair look and feel amazing. Years of abuse completely damaged my ends and in turn, my hair got shorter and shorter. No one really teaches you about how many times to wash it and how to use heat when your younger. In turn our hair takes quite a lot of hell! No fear these days with the market being full of amazing products and tools to save, protect and care for your locks! I did a post a few months ago on my hair-are tips, read it here. Today I'm sharing with you some of the best bits on the market to help your hair out!

First up is the new Panasonic Hair Straightener. It's called the Nanoe and aims to give you silky smooth hair. Priced at £199 it's new technology helps prevent damage but still giving you the straight hair you want. These straighter's are different from others. It has air holes along the tip of the plate to prevent moisture loss and in turn moisturises the hair as you use them! I love the fact it also has five temperature settings, to suit your own hair-care needs as we all differ! It also has a heat stabiliser to stop the temperature dropping off, so you don't go over it as much. With built in safety features the temperature will drop off and then fully turn off.

Of course when you are using anything with heat you are going to need some protection. A lot of the time this is over looked but after just a week of using protection with heat you can see such a difference. The L'Oreal Elnett Heat Protect Spray is able to protect hair up to 230°C which is more than enough! This one also helps with keeping your hair straight and leaves it super shinny!

When it comes to washing your hair you need something that isn't just amazing at cleaning but also something that is going to give and lock in all the moisture. If you also have coloured hair your going to want something that protects the shade to prevent it fading. The Pureology Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner does just that. It's also Sulphate-Free and contains the amazing coconut!

Now, if you have really over-done it with your hair and you need some really treatment don't go for a conditioning mask! Meet Olaplex. This isn't a conditioner but a restorer. It's proven to give moisture, restore dry damaged ends within one use. It could be a weekly treatment if your hair is very damaged or a six - eight week thing for a real pick me up. In turn it will help with styling and growth.

Brushing your hair can lead to breakage and if your hair isn't in the best condition your going to be loosing a lot. The Tangle Teezer is buy far one of the best products to stop this. With it's teeth that bend yet don't pull glide through the hair wet or dry. My hair when wet is always in a matte, but this sorts it out straight away with no pain what so ever!

Lastly, I don't think a list like this would be complete without a dry shampoo! Batiste is one of the best on the market. It instantly sorts out oily hair and it does make it feel super clean. It's brilliant for on the go or when you can't wash your hair. This brand always smells super nice and it's a true hair-care life saver!

There are so many amazing products and tools to look after and get what you want with your hair! Another amazing thing I like to use that is 100% natural is coconut oil, read my post here.
