New In Beauty: ELF Haul

Elf has been a brand that all bloggers know about. I remember when I first started blogging everyone was obsessed with a powder Elf did! I had only used their brushes at the start but when I found out that Elf was now in Superdrug I knew I had to give it a try! There is only a small amount in Superdrug at the moment but to be honest I think it's enough to start with, we know it will get bigger! At the time there was a three for two offer on so I took complete advantage!

The first thing I picked up was the Intense Ink Eyeliner in black. This cost me £4.50. It's a felt tip pen style, which I find is the best way for me to apply eyeliner. It glides on really well and doesn't bleed at all which is handy for someone who isn't the best (me). I didn't find it irritating at all, some tickle while others cause your eyes to start watering! The tip of the pen is really small so if you wanted a smaller line you don't need another product. It's lasted me all day and it's very easy to remove. I didn't have any smudging or product wear till really later in the evening but a quick touch up and I was good to go. Overall it's one of the best eyeliners I have used for a long time!

Next was something that caught my eye and I knew I had to have it, the Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter. This cost again £4.50. It's a eye concealer with the added bonus of a highlighter. I love the fact that the both are attached so easier for travel and storage. The concealer is really high coverage and so bendable, using a beauty blender you can cover dark circles in seconds. I also like to use it on my nose and any spots I have and it works really well on those also. The highlighter is my favourite part, it's just so good! When applied it's a sliver/white but once blended it just adds this natural highlight that looks amazing. It looks stunning under the eyes but also works super well on the cupids bow and under brows! The lasting power is brilliant and I love the fact it's not cakey at all.

I adore a good primer and when I saw that there was one that hydrates I knew I needed it, with the colder months coming up my skin tends to get more dry. This Hydrating Primer costs £7.50. It's a clear primer and a little goes a long way. It has a slightly tacky feel but as you blend it onto the skin it just leaves a super soft base. If you have any little bumps or open pores this smooths it out, it's pretty amazing to feel! Once I start apply my foundation I could see and feel it was going on my skin much better than before. It didn't just sit on the surface which it does sometimes. Overall my skin looked much better with foundation and the best thing was it felt soft all day and was hydrated. It's defiantly one of the best primers I have used and I know during the colder months I will get the most out of it.

The last thing I picked up was a Contour Palette. My last one hit pan and the other shades were far to dark for my skin! This palette has two highlighting shades and two contour shades. Lucky for me both the shades suit my skin depending on the look I'm going for! The pigment of all four are amazing. The highlights are not as strong as most but they are nice if your not going for that big glow! I have found the contour shades to blend effortlessly and you can really build on them. Again, with all elf products I have found the lasting power of this brilliant. It's probably one of my favourite palettes I have used!

My first impressions of Elf are I'm in love! I'm so pleased with the bits I have got and I can't wait to give their other bits a try. I think the brand is priced so well and even more so when there is a three 4 two offer on!
